• Course Description: This is an English course that centers on building advanced college reading skills. Students will be able to evaluate knowledge using critical thinking skills in the following academic competencies: distinguishing facts from opinions, recognizing propaganda techniques, avoiding errors in reasoning, outlining and summarizing. Students will apply elements of literature using classic novels and poetry. (Note: 3 Lecture Credits)
