The goal of this course is to familiarize the students with (a) hand tools such as pliers, handsaw, hacksaw, T-square, tape measure, hammer, crowbar, and many other hand tools used in carpentry, (b) Power tools such as a table saw, miter saw, circular saw, drill, jointer, rotary hammer, and other power tools associated with carpentry and (c), safety with these tools in the workplace.
